Participation Rules

Riders are responsible for ensuring that they are legally licensed to operate a motorcycle and that their motorcycle is licensed for highway use in its state of registration. In addition, motorcycles must be equipped with a USFS-approved spark arrestor and have a muffling system no louder than 98db measured at 0.5 meters. Knobby tires are recommended. Riders must wear a helmet and obey all traffic laws.  

By purchasing a ticket and registering for this charity ride, you must acknowledge and agree that motorcycle riding involves inherent risks of injury or death, and you voluntarily assume all such risks. You must release the event organizers, sponsors, and volunteers from any liability for accidents, injuries, or damages you may sustain during the ride.  


IMPORTANT NOTICE: Parental consent is required for all minors. Both parents must be present to sign consent forms at the event, or minor participants can bring a consent form signed by both parents that has been notarized before the event.  

Event Schedule

NOTICE:  EVENT WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE.

All event activities except the Saturday rider luncheon are held at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame Museum. Trail maps are provided at sign-in and will identify the location for the luncheon. Riders will have the option of roll-chart route sheets or GPS.

The Livingston Fire Department will have lunch options for purchase on Sunday. Cash is required for payment. 


Raffle Drawing Rules: To participate: 1. **Eligibility**: Ensure you have registered for the event and received your raffle ticket with your registration packet pickup on May 2, 2025. 2. **Ticket Collection**: Drop your raffle ticket into the designated box located at the registration area before the drawing time. Make sure your ticket is placed securely. 3. **Drawing Time**: The door prize raffle drawing will take place on May 2, 2025, at 8 pm EST. Please arrive at the designated drawing area a few minutes early. 4. **Winning Tickets**: Winners will be announced during the specified drawing time. Keep your ears peeled for your ticket number! 5. **Claiming Prizes**: If your ticket number is drawn, please come to the stage or designated area to claim your prize. Ensure you show your ticket for verification. 6. **Prizes Unclaimed**: Any door prizes not claimed by 9 pm will be re-drawn for additional winners.

To help you prepare for the ride, we’ve created a checklist to ensure that both your bike and riding gear are ready for the challenge. This comprehensive list includes essential items and maintenance tasks we recommend completing to enhance your riding experience and safety. By checking off each item, you'll be well-equipped to tackle the 200+ miles ahead.

Bike Preparation 

  • Make sure your bike is ready and in good working condition to ride 200+ miles
  • Make sure your license plate or temporary plate is securely adhered 
  • Have State Registration or Title on bike 
  • Confirm headlights and taillights are working
  • New knobby tires that are trail-ready. 
  •     We like IRC VE33s, Dunlop 81EX, Shinko 525 cheater, Michelin Starcross 5 or 6 (120/100/18 rear)
  • Ultra heavy duty tubes or mouse/tubliss
  • Handlebar phone mount for using OnX App 
  •     We like Quad Lock
  • Handlebar roll chart mount for using a trail map
  •     We like Enduro Engineering or Moose options
  • New brake pads front & rear 
  • Fresh brake fluid, especially rear
  • Fairly fresh chain and sprockets 
  • Fresh oil change
  • Fairly fresh coolant in radiators  


Rider Preparation

  • CO2 style tire inflator (3 or more cartridges) 
  • Extra spark plug (even for a 4-stroke)
  • Good tool kit (best tools, not oldest) 
  • A few nuts/bolts in common sizes
  • Duct tape

  • Small strip of epoxy steel bond
  • Extra 2-stroke oil (pre-mixed/measured)
  • Small canister of extra fuel
